How great is this! Received an email from our friends in Texas, Vickey and Ken who help Sister Maureen when she makes her regular three times a week trek to Mexico to look after all the kids.

In the email, captioned "You should be opening this on the morning of your 2nd day on the road. Pic taken 28 Feb 13 just to let you know they are waiting for you." was a picture of Karily, Livvy, and Eric. One of the girls Katie works with(Durga)sponsors Karily, and we sponsor Livvy the youngest girl. This is the picture... How cute are they? We can hardly wait to see them...will be going to see them next Thursday. Nice to have such great friends!

Good day driving today road wise, not so good as far as my pinched nerve goes, but really just uncomfortable and irritating more than anything, so I survived
and drove the whole way.

Got to the Hotel and again used our Best Western travel cards. Got things organized, then went for supper to Cracker Barrel. If you have never tried it, it is very good and they always have home cooked style meals. Katie and I both had the Cod dinner...very good!

Then it was off to the Casino, there are four large ones here. We always go to the same one the Horseshoe Casino. What happened there you may ask?...well Katie did her normal thing, and we walked out with $600 profit and a comp for two nights stay. Only one problem, expiry date on the comp is March 15th, so we can't use it...but that's ok...rather be in Texas anyway.

So it was a good day all around!

We're up early in the morning as we have a ten hour drive to Denton Texas, where we have the Best Western Premier booked.

So it's off to bed real soon...
