Our new washer and dryer were supposed to be delivered at 9AM. My friend Al and I had to run a couple of errands and check on batteries for the golf cart. When we got back the washer and dryer still hadn't arrived. After several phone calls and getting nowhere, Katie and I went over to the store and finally after they made several phone calls, established that they would not arrive until 3:30 or later.
At least that enabled Katie and I to go do some grocery shopping, get gas for the car and take one item back. We also got some flowers for the front. We were going to get the car washed by the Mexicans...they basically detail the whole car for $20.00, but they were too busy and we were short on time.
Our friend Bill was kind enough to install a dryer vent through the pre made cut in the floor, run it under the trailer and out through the skirting with a vent.
I went with Bill to help him get a tablet for his wife June, as it was their anniversary. We also got a router so they will have a wireless connection and I will set it up for him.
At about 3:30, our washer and dryer arrived, and were installed by the delivery guys. Worked well and Katie did a load of laundry to make sure everything was working well.
After supper, Katie and I went to the driving range, came back and then went to the hot tub and pool. There was one guy in the pool, who was a bit of a loudmouth, and certainly didn't think before words came out of his mouth. He is the type that gives Canadians a bad name. Nice part is, he didn't stay long.
Then we had the whole pool and hot tub to ourselves, came back home around 9, relaxed with TV, then it was time to hit the hay.
