Today is a golf day. We went early to the golf club to hit a few balls. Nice to go in the golf cart with new reliable batteries and not have to think about not making it around the whole course. This was a his and hers golf tournament, which they have at the club every week. We got to golf with Bonnie and Al as guests, but were not qualified to win the big bucks, as we are not members.
We started on hole 3, and Bonnie showed why she won the ladies 9 hole championship and the 18 hole championship. We had a very good day, and all brought some butterscotch schnapps which we were forced to drink for every birdie we scored. It was delicious, and seems to me we had to have some 6 times. It was pretty windy, and the good thing is that we all contributed with good shots. We also had two bogies unfortunately, so we ended up shooting 68.
Then Al and Bonnie came to our place for supper. Katie made Talapia, home made cole slaw, home made fries, home make tartar sauce, and it was delicious!!!
a few drinks and wine topped it off, then some pumpkin pie with topping.
We always have good laughs with Bonnie and Al, and it is great to have good friends that you can feel comfortable with.
The jets game was on, so I showed Al how I manage to get the telecast, and we watched most of the 2nd period. Nice Jets win 3-1...
Later on Katie and I went for a walk and it was a very nice evening.
